Videoscope is the Digital Signage and A/V Systems installer for the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
Digital Signage Update The JCCC uses three Sony 52" displays to communicate with visitors. These 1920 x 1080 high definition resolution LCD panels are placed at the front desk, in the viewing area outside the Martial Arts Courts and at the top of the main stairs.
 | For over forty years the JCCC has been a gathering point for the Japanese Canadian community and all people with an interest in Japanese culture. It offers a wide variety of programs for its 4,400 members and showcases the talents of artisans, musicians, dancers and martial arts practitioners. With multi-phase renovations now complete, The Centre has taken on a new 21st century look and feel.

The content is programmed and controlled by the Centre staff in this self-contained environment, using the Sony VSP-NS7 high definition digital signage player. The VSP-NS7 provides custom-tailored handling of many layers of rich content - including video, graphics, and text. It can show Adobe® Flash™ content, web pages and HD video, with live streaming also available.
The Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre has programmed the displays to introduce visitors to the mission statement and programs of the centre, and to inform them about events, history and available products. | |
| Stand alone displays also play an important role at the JCCC. In the lounge area, the display can play DVDs and, most important, satellite Japanese television: a window into Japan today. For use at special events and installations, a fifth display is mounted on a cart for easy access any time, anywhere.
