Sony's PDW-F800 delivers enhanced flexibility for motion picture and TV drama productions, as well as ENG/EFP applications.
This newest member of the XDCAM HD family builds on the features of the PDW-700 with increased versatility.
Multi-format recording is standard, including 23.98P frame rate in 1080 mode.
Slow and Quick Motion (under-crank and over-crank).
Built in HD/SD conversion and cross-conversion during playback between 1080i and 720P
Stunning quality HD images, with file-based recording to Optical Discs.
(The 50 GB Dual Layer Professional Discs records 95 minutes at 50 Mbps.)
Standard definition recording supports the legacy platforms (MPEG IMX®, DVCAM™ and 4:2:0 HD).
The new VTR with matching capability is the PDW-F1600.
