Sony's PDW-F1600 for In-House or In The Field
Features:
The dual optical pick-up provides higher-speed file transfer (approximately 220 Mb/s for an MPEG HD422 clip)
via Gigabit Ethernet interface.
Built in HD/SD conversion and cross-conversion, during playback, between 1080i and 720P.
Eight-channel, 24-bit audio recording.
Multi-format recording is standard, including 23.98P frame rate in 1080 mode.
Standard definition recording: supports the legacy platforms (MPEG IMX®, DVCAM™ and 4:2:0 HD).
This new deck can also operate as a recorder in a linear editing system with conventional insert/assemble editing.
The PDW-F1600 builds on the features of the well-proven PDW-HD1500 deck
