PDW-F1600 CineAlta® VTR featured at NAB 2009 available at Videoscope
Sony's PDW-F1600 for In-House or In The Field Features: The dual optical pick-up provides higher-speed file transfer (approximately 220 Mb/s for an MPEG HD422 clip) via Gigabit Ethernet interface. Built in HD/SD conversion and cross-conversion, during playback, between 1080i and 720P. Eight-channel, 24-bit audio recording. Multi-format recording is standard, including 23.98P frame rate in 1080 mode. Standard definition recording: supports the legacy platforms (MPEG IMX®, DVCAM and 4:2:0 HD). This new deck can also operate as a recorder in a linear editing system with conventional insert/assemble editing.
The PDW-F1600 builds on the features of the well-proven PDW-HD1500 deck 4.3-inch LCD Built-in speaker AC, DC or battery powered Picture Cache Recording (up to 30 seconds) and Disc Exchange Cache Trigger REC function (synchronized recording with compatible camcorders) Input and output of an HDV-compatible stream in 1080i/720P format (Option: PDBK-201) Compatible with Sony's PDJ-C1080 and PDJ-A640 XDCAM carts
