When Image Pacific first brought their request to build an HD Flight Pack to

ensure full equipment compatibility. He brought in third party equipment as
required and offered the services of our own Engineering Department to put
it all together.

For three weeks, under the watchful eye of Videoscope Project Manager, Lee
Burke, the Videoscope conference room became a jumble of the latest HD
products, road cases, installation technicians, tools and several thousand
feet of cable.
Out of this, a flight pack emerged!
To provide the maximum flexibility, each ECM
road case has extensive patch bays for video and audio built into the back.
Installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning was on a tight schedule
with the first rental date booked while the flight pack was still in pieces.
Delivered on time, and fully tested, the Flight Pack had its first
performance in a club on Queen Street West in Toronto.
Flight Pack One is already flying around Canada and
running smoothly.

Image Pacific anticipates a growing demand for HD
field production in Vancouver and Toronto, for both the movie and broadcast
industries.
There are future plans for a second HD flight pack and an HD mobile truck as well. |
